The LeafFilter Tiny House is continuing on its journey across the country, stopping to explore different regions of the U.S. and take in all they have to offer. After exploring the foliage and rolling mountainous landscapes of New England, the Tiny House is ready to take on the more mild climate of the Allegheny Plateau, and to meet more customers and test how LeafFilter functions in this Region of the country. The Allegheny Plateau includes LeafFilter’s very own home state of Ohio, The Buckeye State. Fun Fact: LeafFilter began with just one office in Akron, Ohio in 2005 LeafFilter and has been rapidly expanding ever since to provide top-notch gutter protection throughout North America.
The Allegheny Plateau covers nearly 40 million acres of land and is full of rich natural resources, especially coal and trees. Full of stunning valleys, the region is well known for its natural greenery and abundance of rivers and streams. At a whopping 1,310 miles, the Ohio River is the 10th largest river in the United States. It’s no wonder Ohio got its name from the Iroquois word, “O-Y-O,” meaning “great river.”
In Pennsylvania, the Allegheny National Forest covers approximately 517,000 acres of land. Situated in the foothills of the Appalachian mountains, the Allegheny National Forest features many exciting hiking trails, lush greenery and cascading waterfalls.
The region’s lush greenery does not come without plentiful debris such as buckeyes, maple spinners, and tons of leaves.
