In August 2016, LeafFilter announced Matthew Kaplan as the winner of the first ever LeafFilter Gutter Protection Scholarship award. We received hundreds of applications from students across the country, each with their own unique story to tell. In an effort to continue our support of educational pursuits, LeafFilter Gutter Protection is pleased to announce our next scholarship opportunity – the first annual scholarship for graduate students.
The graduate student scholarship winner will be awarded $500 to help with the cost of tuition, books, or other educational expenses. Interested graduate students must be enrolled in classes in the fall of 2017 to apply. Applicants must also send a 350-500 word essay that answers one of the following questions:
- Reflect upon a time when you failed. How has this experience changed the way you approach challenging situations today?
- Why have you chosen to go into your particular field of study? What experiences have influenced your decision?
We welcome applications from now until June 26, 2017. The winner will be announced on June 27th.
